The market has opened level on Budget day. The Sensex is up 16.91 focuses at 27672.87 and the Nifty is up 8.20 focuses at 8569.50. Around 166 shares have progressed, 66 offers declined, and 79 shares are unaltered.
Lupin, SBI, Adani Ports, Hero Moto and Wipro are gainers while ICICI Bank, Infosys, TCS and Sun Pharma are failures in the Sensex. The Indian rupee picked up in the opening exchange. It has opened higher by 22 paise at 67.65 for every dollar against past close 67.87.
