Microsoft gets 'social' with $26.2-billion LinkedIn buy

Microsoft reported on Monday it would get LinkedIn in an all-money arrangement of $26.2 billion, giving its "social" business a noteworthy support.

Microsoft will pay $196 per LinkedIn offer, a 50 for every penny premium over Friday's end cost of $131.08.

This is the tech mammoth's first real securing under the initiative of Satya Nadella, the India-conceived CEO of the organization, which has its central command in Redmond, Washington, US. Nadella assumed control from Steve Ballmer in 2014.

Established in 2002, LinkedIn, whose home office are at Mountain View, California, is proficient long range informal communication stage with a client base of 433 million. In 2015, the organization reported incomes near $3 billion and working wage of $780 million.
