Sensex slumps over 300 points tracking global cues; bluechip shares fall

Markets have extended losses with Sensex and bang-up dropping by one hundred and twenty fifth every weighed down by banks, motor vehicle and IT shares.

By 11:15 am, the S&P BSE Sensex slouched nearly 350 points at twenty six,378 and therefore the Nifty50 born 112 points to trade at eight,094 levels. Among broader markets, BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices area unit down zero.2%-0.3%.
