The Indian Rupee On Wednesday Opened At 64.70 To The Dollar


Indian rupee opens at 64.70/dollar
The Indian rupee on Wednesday opened at 64.70 to the dollar, 4 paise stronger than its previous close.

Pramit Brahmbhatt of Veracity said, "Backed by strong US economic data recently, the rupee is likely to trade weaker. The trading range for the spot USD-INR pair is seen between 64.60-65.20/dollar."

Dhawal Dalal of Edelweiss AMC said, "Government bond prices have come off after the surprise announcement of OMO sale. We expect sentiment to remain weak in the near term until the Friday auction amid hardening of bond yields in global markets."
